My garage door opens and closes in almost total silence. It's a metal door, so you can still hear it and of course you hear the sound of the door opener, but the rollers make no noise at all. Youtube how to install these babies because it is so DIY simple that anyone could do it. It wasn't a Prime product, so it took a little while to get to me, but I'm sure that's only because I'm spoiled with 2-day shipping. I wasn't in a crazy hurry to get them anyway, so I was willing to wait. I think it only took about a week to get to me anyway. Totally acceptable for regular shipping.
