I initially was drawn to these because they were cute, but also just wanted to try out something new. They are slightly different from a lot of stuff out there and I wanted to see if it would give me a result closer to heat styled curls.I put these in on 90% dry hair. They were super easy to do and I liked being able to leave the hair ends out for straighter ends. I put the curlers near the root and wrapped it around the curler just like I would with a barrel. For these curls I let the hair twist instead of lying flat all the way around. There is some type of pliable core that helps keep it's form when it's bent to snap closed. Snaps closures have a super satisfying click. lol I put these in before bed and took them out the following morning. I didn't use any products throughout just because of my preference. Hairspray is recommended in the instructions. They are soft to sleep in, but like with any heatless curls it's still not 100% comfortable. I absolutely loved the results! It was a little too tight immediately after letting them out, but relaxed to the style I was going for a couple hours later. I have a TON of hair and usually have to buy two sets when I get this kind of stuff, but this came with 20 curlers and I used 16. I was using pretty generous sections too because I wasn't sure I'd have enough. I don't normally write reviews so I was very impressed with these. I will definitely use them a lot and try different curl styles. It's nice for when you want to air dry and not heat style the next day. If anything I hope they come out with thicker ones in the future and you can maybe accomplish a faux blowout look.These curlers gave me a decent curl, and they aren't bad to sleep in at all. As a previous commenter mentioned, don't roll them up too close to your scalp and you're good. I followed the directions and used them on my dry hair and slept on it overnight and they didn't really work that great, I got a slight wave and then it was straight again after about an hour.So next time I used them with sightly damp hair instead of dry, and this time they turned out great. I got a nice curl. Of course a curling iron is going to give you superior curls but I'm trying to let my damaged hair recover so I'm avoiding heat styling as much as possible. These did the job with no damage!I suggest using a satin/silk bonnet over the curlers when you go to sleep to keep them in place.They were easy to put in and easy to take out. Took me 10 minutes to put in and 2 minutes to take out. YMMV but after experimenting a bit and figuring out the best way to wrap my hair in these I was pretty happy with the result. They give kind of a tight curl depending how you wrap your hair so if you want a softer curl like I did simply comb them out with your fingers a bit and you're good!Overall a great product!I was a little skeptical of the product when I purchased it but the rollers provided the results I wanted. I travel for business and don't always have time in the morning to curl my hair. These rollers did the trick and provided some nice soft curls without adding a lot of damaging heat to my hair. It can be a little cumbersome snapping the rollers shut and it does too comfortable at first to sleep with them but once I did it a few times, it was okay and I love the convenience of having subtle curls in the morning with little time and damaging heat.These work really well! I feel like for my hair though, it just doesn’t hold the curl for as long as the flexible rods do. They are a little thicker than the flexible rods that I have gotten before so that may be why. They are super easy to use though, and they have never fallen out of my hair as I’ve slept!These were of nice quality. I would have preferred them to be longer but I will use them as they are.Inexpensive, easy way to curl long hair without damaging heat.They are a bit difficult to unsnap but that is a good thing otherwise they would not stay on while sleeping. I have used the during the day a couple of times and have been very happy with the results. They are smaller so good for people with thinner hair.My hair never holds curls. I may have used too many the 1st time but wavier with less! Get em!
