I purchased the 1/2 inch and !-1/2 roller. I am very pleased with the product's performance. I am hoping the ! inch or 1-1/4 inch is available for purchase per my inquiry. After I tried several tips from my hairdresser and still couldn't get long lasting curls with my hot rollers, he finally suggested I try "old fashioned" mesh rollers. (Sadly, today's hot rollers no longer stay hot long enough to give long lasting curls...) After researching mesh rollers, I discovered that most are poorly made and fall apart quickly. The top rated ones have to be purchased from France, and in addition to being expensive the shipping would have cost nearly as much as the rollers. So I decided to try these TumbleWeed rollers. They're incredibly sturdy and well made. I can't imagine them coming apart! I ordered some roller picks but found them hard to work with, so I switched to long, smooth bobby pins, which work fine for me. After shampooing I work in a little styling cream (Living Proof Perfect Hair Day) and then blow dry my hair until it's smooth but still a little damp. Then I divide my hair into roller-width sections and spray each section with Living Proof Flex Shaping Hairspray just before I roll it onto a TumbleWeed roller. Then I either sit under a bonnet-style hair dryer (best) or blow dry my hair (in curlers) and then leave in the curlers for an hour or two while I'm getting ready to go out to dinner, etc. After I unroll each curler I gently finger comb my hair and I've got big, loose, glamorous curls. Hot rollers are a lot faster for getting out in the morning, but when I want my hair to look great for an important meeting or an evening out, my TumbleWeed rollers are the way to go! My only complaint is about the shipping. No one I know uses only four rollers (I bought 12), but the shipping cost for 12 rollers was 3x the shipping cost for 4 rollers, which is crazy. Other than that, I recommend these highly.Far too priceyfirst time using these I like them have long hair so the work very wellcouldn't keep them in my hair. Picks were too short, pins and clips popped out. Total waste of money.
