The Tacx Galaxia Rollers take you as close as possible to the natural road cycling experience. They have a state of the art design, and thanks to conical rollers your ride is extra stable. That means you can focus even more on your goals, like improving your fitness, pedal stroke and maintaining your speed. Do sprints; or stand on the pedals without fear of falling. You aren't constrained on the Galaxia the way you are on other trainers. Accelerate, and the Galaxia rollers move forward as a result of the kinetic energy that's created; they move backwards when you slow down. This the Tacx patented 'swing system' that enables you to work on speed and suppleness.Features: Minimalist, compact design Adjustable frame is sturdy, yet lightweight Accommodates a wide range of bike sizes Most realistic ride feel indoors Heavy-duty rollers with sealed bearings for a smooth, efficient pedaling motion Collapsible for easy storage and transport Compatible with road and mountain bikes

This will be an ongoing review. The build couldn't be easier. 8 visual steps, < 10 min. Adjustment when collapsing the roller for storage or transport is simple.1st Session: Dialing in the set up. I have a garage floor that is hard coated. The front wheels being stable but polymer can be slippery when getting used to this roller. I keeled over and at some point and the front end slid out. Take away: Make sure the surface is level and has plenty of grip. I doubt this will be a problem as I get better, but I threw down a yoga mat for now...problem solved. Tons of videos showing how to get used to using a roller and all are spot on w/ what I experienced. Wall or table to stabilize yourself while getting going in the beginning. A step up block will make things easier if you have one. It's not how fast you are peeling but how fast your wheels are spinning that helps here. First try done.
