These work fine for my needs. I got curtain bangs but was really struggling with getting my hair to maintain the blow dried shape. So after blow drying my hair I quickly roll the bang section with these and let them set and completely cool in that shape while I finish getting ready.I just wish I got more for the amount of money. These aren't enough to roller set my entire head unfortunately but I have a lot of thick medium-fine hair.Basic use tips:If your hair isn't completely brushed out and smooth before rolling it will tangle in the Velcro roller. If you use too big of a section of hair it can't adhere to your roots to hold and you'll have to use a pin to hold it in place. If you put your hair in these completely wet they won't dry fully from just a blast of the blow dryer.... Common sense for using this kind of roller. They're not meant to completely dry your hair they're meant to help set the style not do all the heavy lifting.
